Well there IPOMers...
It's been quite a month, this mid April to mid May, eh? Let me first say that there's 3 weeks left till St. Anger!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to be a very hard 3 weeks, is it not? I joined the Metallica Club on April 30th. How rad is that?! I've been a fan since '95, and never joined the club all this time. But I'm a member now and loving it. Still waiting for my membership package. Hoping the introductory letter is from James. I also made a couple of purchases ffrom the Club store. I got a much needed CD wallet, a couple copies of Byte the Lightning, and another sticker for my binder, heh. Then there was the St. Anger vid shoot. The article by Steffan Chirazi really touched me, because it showed that James has learned to express love more freely without needing to get drunk to do it. And that he can love anyone. Something I'M still working on, because we all need emotional growth, no? MTVicon was great, even though I hated most of the performers, I managed to enjoy most of the performances. Snoop Dogg was a trip. :D But the best part of all that was METALLICA getting up to play. Frantic sounds great, the little I've heard of it. It's a sight more aggressive then Load or Reload, so far. (Don't get me wrong, I love Load and Reload.) I also really enjoyed Jim Breuer's performance. It was dead on. What I think I loved more than that was James' "I don't sound like that! Yeah...I guess I do." I thought it was very cute. I'm also on the Metallica street team,. which is fun, even if I'm not always successful at it. What else am I doing? I've started a mental health site called Healing Rain Mental Health Site, with a message board where I post as Firefly. I'm taking a creative writing class online, which is helping to awaken abilities I thought I had died after all this time. I am so into literature and words again. I rediscovered a great site called ChickLit a great site for literate chicks that once used Metallica to demonstrate a grammar rule. :D Maybe with this new birth of creativity I am starting to experience again, maybe I will post some of the stories and poems that come out of it somewhere for you all to read. :) Oh, and I'm also going to be volunteering again at my local historical society. And for summer school, taking the doubly sweet insanity of attempting Philosophy, and English. One last thing, and I'll leave you to my vibe list: DAVE MUSTAINE IN 2004 BABY!
