Hey there IPOMers, Well, I started out this month as a busy bee. I'd been doing a few things, but mainly, cleaning ye olde room. It's finally neat, finally navigatable...although... my bed is kinda cluttered, and needs to be made. But other than that, it looks good! Because of my willingness to clean my room, I'm getting some deco stuff for my birthday...which is... *counts* um... 43 days away! :D I'm getting some posters, an Afghan made doll from the Feminist Majority (all proceeds from the dolls go to Afghan women and girls), and a hello kitty pillow. Plus, I'm buying myself a couple of mandellas (a couple of Native American Indian shields). I can't wait to see what this room will look like once everything's in place. I have been thinking about my education lately, (yes, again), and I concluded it will take about 42 units to complete my degree. *sigh* I feel like I'm going to be in college FOREVER! It's very frustrating right now, because we're talking about my A.A degree at the moment. I've been in college 5 years now. Well, at least I'm still fighting the good fight, I guess. Have been trying to plan my courses. I think if everything works out for the fall semester, I will be taking Expository Compostion online, and take Intro the World's Religions in the flesh. I have begun to think that I will have to move to Bakersfield soon, or learn to take the bus to classes in Bakersfield. Both ideas scare me considerably. But I must try. In other news, I want to see Some Kind of Monster, but can't, mainly because they wouldn't show anything like that at my local movie theater. If I had the stomach and the transportation for it, I would go see Fahrenheit 9/11, because it seems like it's really good. Well, that's enough for this month, I'll leave you to my vibe list. Anna |
