Wow do I have a lot to tell you all! First let me appologize for this being so late. I was waiting for some things to pan out. Also, I'd like to appologize for all of the problems with the site the last two weeks. It seems everything is under control now. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. Its good to be back! On with the news... Well, as of now, I am both a full time employee and a full time student. I got a job as a Systems Programmer III at USC. My main responsibility will be taking care of this cluster: 576 nodes of dual-processor goodness! Some other toys involved in my job are a SunFire 15K, tons of other Sun servers, a massive network, lots of really brilliant folks and more. As of the end of this semester I will drop down to being a part-time student until I finish my degree. This means I will be increasingly busy, but as always, IPOM will stay up to date. And speaking of Metallica, guess what? I will be following the boys this summer. How? I have 5 weeks unpaid leave from work! I will be hitting all but 3 shows. To see my itinerary, check here! Some long stretches of driving, but all in all, I think it is going to be an amazing time! I can't wait. If you're going to be hitting those shows, feel free to give me a hollar. I'd also like to say a big thanks to Dave and his sister, Grace. you guys are topping off the greatest Summer ever by making it possible for me to go to mtvICON! What an incredible month it has been! I owe Dave and Grace a few favors. =) So those are the big pieces of news I've been waiting to tell ya'll! In other news, I can't wait for St. Anger! The reviews are awesome, and the suspense is killing me! I think the artwork is pretty cool. Not my favorite, but cool nonetheless. The new logo is pretty kickass as well. But man, I cannot WAIT to hear this new stuff! I hope you all are as excited as I am! Well, I think that about covers it for me for the last month and a half.
