This was my first time to see Metallica live and it lived up to every expectation I could have had and then some. The guys were amazing. James' voice sounded so strong and clear. Through a damn fine piece of luck, we ended up down in front and it was unbelievable. The guys made amazing contact with the audience. The audience was a show all unto itself. James could stop singing at any point in any song and the crowd would keep right on singing. The band seemed really relaxed and happy to be there. Highlights of the show for me were when I made eye contact with James and Kirk. I was just like "Kill me now, cause it ain't gonna get no better." Thank you Metallica and the audience at Deer Creek for making my Saturday night. I haven't touched the ground yet.
