I had asked Toby in Detroit if he needed help in Milwaukee and he told me to show up 45 minutes before doors, so, I was there 2 hours before that. There were already people there! And I thought I was nuts. Toby and Eric came out and got people...almost didn't get chosen...but I did in the end. Got inside, got warm, and handed out fliers for a while. My sister showed up, and I talked to her for a while, then sent her to find her seat, which she did. We ran out of fliers near the end of the sevendust show, so, I went and sat around at the booth for a while, til Toby came by, stuck a postshow pass on me, and off to my seat I went. Saw Kid Rock in full, for the first time. That was quite a good show. We were seated to the right of the stage, when looking at it, not too far away. Went to have a smoke in between shows, and lost my fucking ticket! The security guy saw my post show pass, and luckily let me in. Man, that fucking SUCKED. Almost shit my pants. Anyway, the show started, and it was, of course, fucking great. Same setlist as Detroit. One big fucking highlight, and I swear, I have honestly and truly NEVER headbanged and screamed so much in my entire life. I was singing so loud, it was unbelievable. Anyway, show ended, I told my sister where to go to get out (she got a ride home) and I went and looked for the post show. Got lucky enough to meet Jason, and get a shirt signed (and my sister's AJFA booklet, which he spilled water all over). I was so fuckin shocked that I barely uttered the words "Thank you." And, basically, that was that. Drove home in the fucking SHITTY weather, couldn't hear, couldn't talk, couldn't do anything, but I know I had the biggest grin I ever had on my face.
