Well people, for my first metallica concert IT KICKED MAJOR ASS! (i didnt get to go to any other recent tours due to ticket problems.) First off we got there around 7 just as DOTN started and we found our seats then we left and got our shirts (Shirts i can remember... Fixxer and tour was $25 Baseball jersey $90 [I think] White Wifebeater $20 i didnt see the dog tags though i wouldve bought them, oh well). and we got drinks and sat in the VIP section near the stage.

DOTN finished up and Jerry came on in a couple minutes. we were still hanging in the VIP section halfway through Jerry's set. We got to our seats just in time for the only song of his that i like... Cut You In. he did a pretty good job of opening and his requests for everyone to stand were quite funny... "Hey people this ain't a fuckin' movie STAND THE FUCK UP!" heh.

Well he finished up and and the roadies came and moved their gear off the stage and all the mesa boogie shit came up (Imagine stealing one gear truck.) and after about a half hour of waiting there all the sudden the lites turned off and then red lites turned on and lars appeared. he started helpless and james jason and kirk came out and started playing (really fucking impressive) and all of the sudden this dude next to me was like "Hey man what song is this?" i slightly laughed and shouted helpless but he didnt hear me (We were in the 11th row center) pretty good seats except when u get a big fat tall fucker in front of you.

Then came Master (full) which rocked ass. especially the interlude and the evil laugh at the end. Then James said something to the nature of "Hey you fucks havent heard this one in a while... OF WOLF AND MAN!!! people went crazy during the opening E5's. Wolf was pretty cool especially the interlude. Thingy came up which was a surprise and pretty cool might i add. Then the first pyro's of the show (two flame jets beside lars kits which were used most) came up and james said... GIMME FUEL GIMME FIRE GIMME THAT WHICH I DESIRE!!!! pretty cool song live gets the energy flowing. Then James said well i forgot the lyrics to this one you all are going to have to sing for me and he busted into memory. Kirk did some small solos here and there nothing like on Live Shit. And after everyso song james did his usual chant with the audience... yeah? YEAH! Yeah? YEAH! YEAH? YEAH!!!!! And he talked about how loud we were.

Then the opening riff to bleeding me came on the crowd responded really well like any other song. pretty fucking loud. Then jason came on and thanked the crowd and went into his solo and kirk joined in for a where the wild things are jam. Then james came out alone and started off nothing else matters alone then everyone else joined in 3rd verse i think. Then came the opening to until it sleeps the crowd roared and i dont know but i think the crowd got to the most wildest point of the concert at the chorus... people on chairs and security was getting pissed. Then comes king pretty good concert song. then comes... wherever i may roam and the opening sitar and people start going off the wall including me. awesome live song. Then one of my personal favs "One" came on no pyro but it still rocked the solo especially. Then maybe the highest point of the concert came... then went off stage and waited for a minute or so and some dude goes here we go low mans... and you hear an acoustic but no its not low man's it FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE soon you the madness of the main riff and you cant explain it just awesomeness pure adrenaline better than any drug can do... And on about the 2nd or 3rd chorus James stopped and all off the sudden the flames came up and he did the chorus (Mightve been the coolest thing the whole night.) Then comes the acoustic set which got just as well of a response as king or wolf and james goes well man heres something new they play low mans four horse (i wasnt sure what this song was until about the second time i heard the CGDC progression) and motorbreath really cool although i wouldve rather heard horse and motorbreath plugged its something new and although it was acoustic it ROCKED! and during four horse james said to clap so i did and i tried to sing i was getting fucked up i guess i cant do two things at once. plus these dudes sitting next to me kept getting fucking beer the whole time so i had to keep moving heh they at least couldve shared =\ .And after it was over james said thanks for putting up with this shit man...

Then the roadies removed the acoustic gear and DUUUUUN DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUN SAD BUT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well what can i say one of the best live songs being play right there i went crazy and i thing i tore a vocal chord but who cares?? James said what did u say u want MORE??? then crowd started chanting more more more so they went into sandman. during sandman there are blue lights that scan the crowd and i swear they kept going to me and staying for 5-10 seconds each! Maybe james looked at me! Also they used some pyro in this song ,too. then james said well man looks like the night has to come to a close we are already over the curfew what do you guys think??? MORE MORE MORE!!! alright man i cant argue with that shit man said james FUCK THE CURFEW!! WE'LL PLAY ONE MORE.... they went into creeping death also one of my favs i sang so loud on the die part i could hardly sing the rest but i managed... then they left and thanked us for an awesome night and threw cups and picks i didnt get one though =( oh well. it was an awesome night. next time they come here i will have to get closer seats so i can get right up against the stage and sing and shit and get a pick. and maybe even follow them on tour (I hope) So the pluses were... Helpless, Master (full), Fuel, Roam, One, FFwF, Sad but true, and of course CREEPING DEATH!!!!!! Low points... not being close enough, no backstage, and no BLACKENED but oh well. The crowd didnt get as much into as on Live Shit it wouldve been cool if they did... And the concert was mostly a lite show only 3 pyro songs i think. When it was all over the people started leaving and some were going backstage and my friend had to leave he couldve gotten me backstage but he had to leave so i watched james and jason from a distance it was still cool, but it wouldve been awesome to get my wifebeater signed! BTW the reason i made this thing so long is that it was prolly the best night of my life until i get front row... and i got nothing else to do so i wannna remmeber it as long as i can.

Well thats all i can remember but its pretty long ass so enjoy!
