Whats up Metallifuckerz!!?? Well here I am again 4 days after the Sandy show down in ChulaWana. First off-kickass place to see a concert. Great sound, great layout and all that good shit. Only problem it's a two hour drive, but whatever it's worth it.

Kick ass show as usual. Days came out, I have no idea what was up with them. I know it was there last show as the four of them (I was looking for Travis after the show cause I wanted to deck him for being such a prick to his band, but oh well), but there was some WEIRD shit happening! For example they had a drum throne and a snare drum (with the stand) hoisted into the air on a rope dangling over the drummers head. During "The Downtown" he got hit and he stopped playing for a minute. Travis had to carry the song all by himself! During "The Motherfucker Song" smoke bombs were going off everywhere. Was this a prank or an accident??

Jerry came out, same old setlist and act. Only part worth mentioning was Mike Inez came out to play "Them Bones" and after the song he jumped into the pit! It was like seeing 3/4 of AIC (Where are you Layne???). Other than that I saw the same fucking show two weeks ago at Irvine.

Unfortunately the same thing happened with Metallica. Same setlist, same things said to the crowd, same stage stunts, same stage movements by the band, same old same old. It was a great show as usual-don't get me wrong-but it was sort of like watching a re-run, or having a flashback. In the future I hope Metallica decides to alter the setlist more often. I've heard they don't do that often because the light show is done with the setlist or something-but c'mon, I think we'd all be willing to sarifice a light show for some variety.

Anyway, it was worth my $30, I had a blast. Killer crowd too! I hope Metallica comes back (with Days Of The New's new lineup and the re-united Alice In Chains of course) to SoCal real soon. Keep kicking ass!
